Vitality is happy to announce the newest member of our team and Director of Sales, Don Elder!
Don Elder has over 18 years of business development and executive-level sales experience in the electrical and renewable energy industry. Don has been responsible for establishing over 250 new commercial/industrial accounts and selling over $42M in projects/BOM’s up to this point in his career. Don’s customers and former employers have recognized him as one of the most reliable, knowledgeable, and dedicated account/sales managers they have worked with.
Don’s talents were recognized by the Winwholesale organization when he was an outside salesman for SLC Winlectric from 2003-2007 and he was offered the opportunity to become the President of Denver Winlectric in 2008. During the recession, sales in the electrical industry were difficult to come by, however, Don recognized that the solar industry was booming, by the end of 2009 Don brought in millions of dollars in solar system products. Don recognized an opportunity in the marketplace and created an online shopping cart website, SolarElectricDistributor.com, and was selling directly to solar system installers worldwide, sales had increased the companies revenue by 6x in under 3 years after Don became President.
Don has a passion to exceed all expectations when leading by example for his sales teams to establish loyal accounts, to be accountable, and to always treat the customers with not only respect but to always listen, learn and grow from each opportunity while on the job.
